NPYBL 8 & Under is for kids who are ages 7 or 8 as of 4/30/2024. Visit the LEAGUE RULES page for the complete 8U rules. The biggest changes from 6U to 8U is that the kids are now more advanced in fielding and hitting. 8U being coach pitch baseball allows the kids to develop their swing, see the ball, and become acclimated with running bases. Since 8U players hit more often than 6U, the fielding opportunities are increased.
